XII. Spill and Disposal Procedures
Environmental Impact: Report spills as required to appropriate authorities. U. S. Coast Guard regulations require immediate reporting of spills that could reach any waterway including intermittent dry creeks. Report spill to Coast Guard Toll Free Number 800-424-8802. In case of accident or road spill, notify Chemtrec 800-424-9300.
Procedures if Material is Released or Spilled: Rinse with copious quantities of water to dilute. Sodium carbonate or calcium carbonate may be used to neutralize acid.
Waste Management: Neutralized Morcon may be disposed of according to Federal, State and Local regulations. New or partially used material may be neutralized with soda ash.
Toxic Substance Inventory Control Act: All components are included on the TSCA Inventory and are in compliance with TSCA.
